To
mobilise world-wide efforts to protect and promote
the rights of all children, especially the right
to receive a free, meaningful education and to
be free from economic exploitation.
The
Global March Movement
Global
March Against Child Labour is a movement born
out of hope to save the victims of exploitation,
bring worldwide awareness and address the issue
of child labour on a global agenda. The movement,
which began as a physical march in 1998, culminating
with the adoption of the Convention on the Worst
forms of Child Labour, is now a global movement
against this social menace. Having partners in
over 140 countries, the movement grows stronger
with each passing day.
Why
will you contribute?
There
are still 246 million child labourers in the world
today living under extremely difficult and exploitative
conditions and our work is incomplete till they
are all free. Your contribution will take us one
step forward in reaching out to them.
Whether
it is your time, skills, ideas or money; your
support remains invaluable to us.
How
will you donate?
If
you are in India, you can make your donations
[cheque / DD] in favour of Association for
