Country Report 2006 - India, Bangladesh, Costa Rica, Niger, Chile and Central America : A Review of Child Labour, Education and Poverty Agenda |
The Global March against Child Labour, since its inception has been thriving upon two missions, i.e., elimination of child labour and guaranteeing good quality free education for all children. These two have to be addressed in the broader context of socio-economic justice or poverty alleviation. The coherence in policy, coordination amongst institutions and convergence in programs is necessary to attain sustainable development and justice. The Global March presents six case studies on India, Bangladesh, Costa Rica, Niger, Chile and Central America. |
