Who can become a member

Applicants for membership are required to:

  • subscribe to the mission, principles and aims of the Global March Against Child Labour,
  • demonstrate a substantial record of activity in the field of child rights and education,
  • contribute to the achievement of GMACL aims through coordinated actions and activities,
  • be committed to interact and share knowledge with other members of the GMACL,
  • pay membership fees and annual dues as described below.

There are two types of membership in the GMACL:

Yearly operating budget :

  • Below USD 50,000
  • Between USD 50,000 and USD 250,000
  • More than USD 250,000

Please Note:

  • Annual dues are 50 percent of the above stated membership fee.
  • Membership is activated only when the application is approved by the Global March International Council and when membership dues are received, post approval
