Global March's Work Applauded in Commonwealth Foundation's Publication

With support from the Commonwealth Foundation, Global March Against Child Labour, in April 2014, began its project ‘Forging Civil Society Action against Child Domestic Labour (CDL) to Combat the Gender Disadvantage’.The overall objective of the project was to strengthen civil society response in South Asia, particularly India, Bangladesh and Pakistan to tackle child domestic labour and associated gender based violence. The project developed capacity of civil societies to play its part in making policy more relevant and making institutions more responsive to tackle child domestic labour and promote child rights.

We are happy to report that some of the success stories reported under this project were included in the publication of Commonwealth Foundation, called " The People's Commonwealth" on Pg 15.
