13 March 2007, 02:00 PM–Today the South Asian March Against Child Trafficking entered Nepal through Sanauli  border area. The marchers received the a warm welcome by Mr Dilli Bahadur Chaudhari (President BASE and renowned activist of Napal) . A rally was taken out from Indian border to Nepal Border generating the awareness among the masses.

Two public meetings were held  . Kailash Satyarthi addressing the masses said that " Everything is costly but a girl or boy are cheaper than a Television or cattle. These roads of Nepal are drenched with tears of children who are bought or sold as animals This is a shameful thing which is happening all around India, Nepal and Bangladesh. We not only rely on government but also on people to fight  against this heinous crime. I today appeal to the hotel owners and the shopkeepers to boycott the traffickers. We  have covered the thousands of  Kilometer but until a child will be bought or sold till then we will not sit comfortably".

The March finally culminated in Lumbini (the birth place of Lord Buddha) for the night.
