Every
month we feature an activist (involving our
national coordinators, the regional coordinators
and other interested individuals) on our website,
based on some key points like creativity, innovation
and awareness generation among the people.
We
invite contributions from activists and organisations
describing their achievements and pioneering
deeds on issues concerning child labour and
education, and be awarded with a certificate
of honour from the Global March Against Child
Labour, the largest worldwide civil society
initiative against economic exploitation of
children.
Aim
of the Award
This
section aims to meet the following criteria:
- To
illustrate the initiatives of the activists
of Global March and its partners showing their
leadership skills and innovative ideas through
different activities on child labour eradication
and education for all.
-
To feature the success stories and the dynamism
of organisations in grassroots' services in
the concerned issues, especially in remote
areas where the government and other development
organisations find hard to reach. In this
way we aim to publicise the organisational
activities and enhance global awareness leading
to active involvement in child labour and
other related issues
